Start a project
Tell us what you are building
The more context the better, but do not worry about getting it precise - a rough description of the problem is a perfectly good place to start. You do not need a specification or a budget figure to have a useful first conversation.
Project inquiry
Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Everything else is optional.
Before you write
Questions people usually have at this point
How do engagements usually start?
With a conversation, then a paid discovery engagement. Discovery is time-boxed - typically two to four weeks - and ends in a written recommendation, architecture outline, and delivery plan you own outright. You can take that plan to any vendor, including none at all.
What does a project cost?
It depends entirely on scope, and any number quoted before discovery would be invented. What we can tell you up front is the cost of discovery itself, and discovery produces an estimate grounded in actual requirements rather than a guess from a brief.
How long does a project take?
A focused first release is commonly eight to sixteen weeks from the end of discovery, depending on integration complexity and how many decisions sit with other parties. We sequence work so something usable reaches real users early rather than everything arriving at the end.
Do you work with existing in-house teams?
Frequently, and it is often the best arrangement. We can lead delivery, work as an embedded part of your team, or take a specific workstream such as design, infrastructure, or an AI capability. We also hand designs to in-house engineers and stay available during the build.
Who owns the code and the accounts?
You do - source, repositories, infrastructure, domains, and documentation, registered to your organization from the start. We are added as collaborators and can be removed at any time without anything breaking.
What happens after launch?
Launch includes handover: documentation, runbooks, and walkthrough sessions with whoever will own the system. Beyond that you can hold a support retainer, bring it fully in-house, or come back only when you need us. All three are normal, and we plan for whichever you prefer.
Are you a US company?
We work primarily with businesses in the United States and operate on US business hours for client communication. Specific entity and location details are confirmed in writing during contracting rather than asserted on a website.
What if we are not sure what we need yet?
That is the most common starting point, and discovery exists for it. You do not need a specification, a budget figure, or a technical answer to have a useful first conversation - bring the problem and we will help work out whether software is even the right response.
